The second annual Women In Product conference was held in San Jose this Autumn, and included talks from luminaries such as April Underwood, VP of Product at Slack, Carol Isozaki, Founder of Strategic Brand Intelligence, and other female executives from the likes of Google, Facebook, Netflix, and PayPal.
Techworld have subsequently discovered that the number of women speaking at tech conferences and events is extremely disproportionate to the amount of women who are actually working in the sector. To help tackle this issue, they have researched and produced a ‘tiny sample’ list of 340 leading women in the UK technology industry who are Founders, CIOs, Developers and Experts who are and would be great speakers at any technology event.
